ok where am i supoosed to find how to

write/read and understand tau?? it would be a good thing to know so i can make my models

have a bit of individuality... i guess.... ???...

I have been looking for Tau translations etc.

but havn't had much success, there should be some dictionary i recon so we can get

away from the basic words in the codex and personalise out squads!!!

Yeh i know about the font but how do you

translate something to their english language (e.g. Shas'ui)???

I know what you mean about naming your units in

the races language.
I suppose with my Eldar army (who have a fairly large language

base already published in various sources) have a few named units. Such as my Wraithlord

Athag'Atherakhia (trans. face of destruction).

i guess im gonna havta name my squads macintosh and windows... cause thats the

only translated thing on the games workshop menu.. which actually doesnt look that bad...

haha

so i have the letters A, C, D, E, G, H, I, L, M, N, O, R, S, T, U, V and

W.... i guess i can just spell english words with tau writing with this... but it would

be far more better if it were from the tau language... and if i had more letters... im

gonna try figure more out...

about 17 so far

Yeh there definently has to be some sort of

guide done up by Gamesworkshop for this and if there isn't well they should bloody

well make one >

Ohh and also i am affraid the pic is not of one of

mine its from gamesworkshop nice i recon yeh but i will get a pic of my own posted up

hopefully soon!!

well all i need

is B, F, J, K, P, Q, X, Y, and Z... but i think tau only use k out of all of those

right?

HEY if u want to translate the text, download

the font (somewhere in the tau section on the website)
write 2 lines of A B C D E F

G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z (ive typed it for ur copy.paste convienience) and

then put one of the lines in tau font after youve installed the font.. that way, they

SHOULD line up.. if they dont.. meh.. u can work it out..

note some letters

are duplicate..

wait a sec.. i havent bothered to read all of the above posts

.. but the alphabet is in the codex.. :s.. im lost.. sorry..
