The suit in red you've done looks really nice, think we can get a close up picture of that one?

These are probably the best pictures I have of some of my units right now. Changing a few minor things about the color scheme, but that's what it is thus far.

Really wish I could find a dry or a wash that would accent the colors, something to darken the lighter grey, and a lighter color to brush onto hard surfaces to make them look worn or reflective. Because so many tau painting guides are for the brown and tan color scheme since the codex has been so slap-happy about the taros campaign that none of them have been of any use.

That's one thing I like about the tau, they use camouflage schemes conditioned on environment. Any unit from any sept can be using a standard pattern urban or arctic camouflage and no one's going to tell you you look like you're running space wolves because the codex has examples of this.

Anyway, these grainy, shaken pictures are the best I've got at the moment.

I'm planing to make a farsight conversion, use a standard commander model, but in the left hand, or which ever has a closed hand make what looks like a big honor blade. His name wil be commander shadow walker, the commander of my second cadre. I have two cause most of my models look aweful and cant really be repainted, cause I used enamel paints

Looks pretty cool. Do you like the gloss finish? There are several different kinds of drys you could use to take the shine off.

Welp, this is awkward. I feel like you copied my Prom Dress a little, ColdCast! Not all of this is completed - a lot of it is still a work in progress, sadly.

Tetras

Devilfish

Longstrike Hammerhead

XV8-03 Anti Infantry Pair

Fire Warriors

Stealth Shas'Ui

Pathfinders

Crisis Trio

Shadowsun and Aun'Sol

Gue'Vesa Auxilliaries

i kinda do like the gloss, but ive noticed a lot of other people dont. i think its looks awesome with a 1500+ fully painted army though, as my friends like to call it "tron-tau" (a nickname i resent)
