Default need a little help against csm/chaos

This Saturday I have a 1500pt game against csm/chaos and wondering what I should bring I know I going to be facing at least one turkey and a demon prince, and t6 bikes and no tanks. I am thinking of bringing some broadsides with HRR with vel tracker. Also thinking of bring Darkstrider to reduce the t6 bikes to t5 also will be running a defense line with a the Icarus gun. Nothing is set in stone yet any advice of what else I should consider

With daemons, they all have an invul save, so pumping out shots is a good thing. For the tin cans (Space Marines) something with a good AP, say Plasma Rifles. I presume your turkey is the flier, so your plan wqith Broadsides makes sense. Not sure if Daemons have all of their Deep Stirke abilities still, so I wouldn't be thinking static defenses as much as Meching up and moving my grey butt around. I'd also like to recommend a Riptide. Some decent bang there.

No. What I am saying is that my Air Support has lots of Ground Cadre.

If a Land Raider dies to a rail gun, and no one was around to see it, does the kill point still exist?

the turkey is a pain, (yes it is a flyer, also happens to be the toughest flyer in the game, it is to the chaos marines as the Riptide is to us) plan to take three sides and suit up in fishes. Strider tends to a less good choice as he is ideally placed with an up gunned unit of pathies which tends to be fragile and expensive.

I would advise HYMP on the sides with velocity trackers, better in all ways against turkeys and can also switch to ground support. Also much better against the prince if it takes off...

ok so i have problems with the flyer too, mostly because i dont know all of its stats and upgrades so i dont really know what to expect, does anyone else know so i dont have to drop $50 on a codex for a army that i think would be no fun to use? oh and also does anyone think pathfinders on a sky shield is ever a good idea? i havent tried it yet.

sounds like an overly expensive upgrade for a unit that would still be squishy.
