Default cant decide what is next on my buy list

I have 12 fws 12 kroot(with two hounds), an ethreal, 3 crisis suits assembled(one is a commander two are helios)
I also have a pirahna a devilfish and 3 crisis suit bodies without weapons I got for free, they will eventually be my MP crisis suits when i get six missile pods.

I am in an escalation league that goes in increments of 400 so 4 8 12 16 20
this month starts the 400 point and that was easy, an ethreal 12 fws 12 kroot 3 crisis suits, done.
next month though I am not sure what i need to add next I am doing this on sortof a budget so trying not to spend to much at once,
was either getting more troops, probably another box of fws and another box of kroot. or maybe a hammerhead.
anyways what does everyone think I should pick up next?

If we are looking at 800 points next, bringing in something with a little more hitting power is a good idea. I am not sure the Hammerhead is the best choice, however it would be wht I would put next of the choices.

Personlly, I might flesh out the Piranha team a little more or start looking to the Riptide.

No. What I am saying is that my Air Support has lots of Ground Cadre.

If a Land Raider dies to a rail gun, and no one was around to see it, does the kill point still exist?

Riptide.
Definately a Riptide.
At these points they are nigh on unkillable, and can pretty much handle anything that you will face.
Definately Riptide
like seriously

Unkillable to anything but close combat. Keep them out of that and they are definitely a solid choice.

After there, you'll start getting armour difficulties and heavy infantry difficulties. My advice is railheads or railsides.

Riptide will mangle heavy infantry, and the railside can't take down tanks better than a butterfly landing on the windshield would. For light armour missilesides will crack it (though we've got lots of other S7 options), and for heavy armour, railheads or fusion blaster suits.

the more common ones are pretty resilant, the Heldrakes and vendettas, if ur gonna take railsides, ur probably going to need 2 to have a decent shot at taking either out
