Default Perils of the Warp - Psyker Competition [RULES]

Perils of the Warp

Dates:
  • Entries can be submitted via a PM to Dra'Tuisich-Novae from September 1[sup]st[/sup] till September 21[sup]st[/sup].
  • Voting will take place between September 22[sup]nd[/sup] and September 29[sup]th[/sup].
  • Winners will be announced on the 30[sup]th[/sup] of September.

Prizes:

1st Place - 10pts
2nd Place - 5pts
3rd Place - 2pts

(The top 3 all receive official TO winners seals too).

Rules:
This competition is for a single miniature, with one stipulation; the model must be a Psyker. Anything from a Librarian or Chaos Sorcerer to a Sanctioned Psyker, Warlock, or even Kroot Master Shaper. If a model couldn't possibly have a psychic power in the 40k universe (for example, it is a Tau) then it cannot be entered into the contest.

If you wish to enter a Monstrous Creature (including Daemon Princes and Hive Tyrants) they must appear to be either casting a psychic power, about to cast one, or obviously able to cast one in some way. You'll have to use your imagination for this - if you want to double check your entry with us first, send either Hive Lord or Novae a PM detailing your plan.
  • Up to three pictures of your entry may be submitted.
  • The piece may not have been entered in a previous contest.
  • All models must be fully painted.
  • Photos of your entry may not exceed 800x600 pixels.

PNW - Is the model a stock model or is it a conversion?
If it's just a normal librarian model, then that should be fine, but if it features heavy modifications that are not your own, then you can't enter it as entirely your own work, even if you did paint it - people will be voting on the build as well as the paint job.

I haven't seen it, but judging by the guy it'll just be stock, and i'll spruce it up a bit myself, adding pzazz and whatnot
As far as i know, of course. If it already has work on it then i wouldn't take credit for it

Ha! Got my entry ready before this. Entry sent. I would have entered the Librarian from Space Hulk but I'm saving that for a rainy day.........and I have yet to choose a color scheme for him...

This is the one contest where I might try my hand at some new painting techniques. Hope I don't screw up my mini. :-\

Sweet! I have a model for this one. Just need to touch it up... hmm.

Is this a painting competition, or are conversions considered as well? I didn't know if having a complicated/redesigned model would give any extra edge.

Well, people will be voting on their favourite model in general, not just the conversion or paint scheme alone. Yes, you're allowed to convert the model.

Wow, I actually have something I can enter for a contest :P

Whether It'll win or not is a different story :P

Though I'd best finish a few details I've been putting off.
