A downed Gun Drone is not acceptable then?

It should be visibly damaged and not intact, but it's permissible.

Thanks.

It lacks one Carbine and it is visibly damaged by gunfire. Now to get some pictures of that thing...

The no complete models part seems kind of silly. I'm sure tons of people use wounded troops, and stuff like that for objectives. Not allowing full models on the objective really limits what can be entered.

That is a bit strange. My brother, for example, has a converted Tau pilot standing near a crashed marker drone. It's not been painted yet, but it's still a very cool and thematic model that doesn't seem legal?

Anyway, I may just enter this, as I remember that I have some good Eldar objectives. They need a paintjob, and basing, and, uh, well, everything aside from assembly, but I think I can get it done in a month.

I'm more wondering about the base-size limitation.

My objectives are all large-flying stand sized (the ones that come with the devilfish). I understand limiting the size or else it would just be another terrain contest...but I'm sad I won't be able to enter!

OK, just to explain that rule:

Basically, we don't want people trying to enter any old model with a maybe slightly scenic base as an objective marker.
I think, as long as it's obviously an objective as opposed to just a model, there shouldn't be too much of a problem. PM me or Novae with your idea and/or photos if you need confirmation that your entry is legal.

As you say, we have to draw the line somewhere or it's just going to get silly. Sorry! However, part of the point of the competitions is to motivate people into starting new projects. Maybe you could make one on a smaller base just for the contest?

large flying bases are actually small enough to sit inside the hollow of a guard weapon team base. ;D

Really? My objectives are slightly smaller (maybe 1/4 inche less) than a blast marker (I just checked). Are the new guard bases that big? I had no idea.

I'll see if I can make another one. Just disappointed that my current ones don't qualify!
