Default So long, and thanks for all the fish...

Well it's coming up to 3 years as a moderator now and I've loved every minute of it. Especially since I took over there at the competition committee. I hope you have enjoyed the competitions that have run here as much as I have enjoyed judging and organising them .

However now is the time that I must step down, hang up my boots and leave Tau Online. It is with regret that I have to do this as I have many a friend here I will miss. No least, Aftercrescent, my second in command who is also stepping down. I'm sure he'll say something in this thread but I just want to salute the work he has done for you all too.

Thanks for everyone who has taken the time to say thanks to either of us or anyone in the competition committee for doing their work, it does mean a lot! They're a great bunch of people and competitions will carry on in 2008 with a slightly new team and a new leader, be nice to them please!

Tau Online is a fantastic community which I feel that I have benefitted from, keep being awesome and keep being nice to each other guys, live your dreams .

So Long and Thanks for all the Fish,

Cheers,

--42

(P.S - I'm not standing down until the 2nd of January, so save the badmouthing until after then at least!)

Well so much for a happy Christmas, this is bad news. You and Crescent are both great mods. Is there any particular reason that the both of you are stepping down at the same time or is it just a horribly depressing coincidence?

Also what will your actions be regarding GCO? I haven't seen you there much at all really.

Well, too bad you are leaving as we will struggle to find another fool(J/k ^_^) great guy like you with Iron patience. ^_^ Best of luck.

We've sorted out the replacements for them, Hive Lord & Dra'Tuisich-Novae, although 42 and AC won't be officially stepping down from until the 2nd as stated above, 42 and AC are currently acting as "mentors" for the new guys as well fore filling their current roles . I'm sure you guys agree that although we will miss 42 and AC, you guys won't be left in the lurch for competitions

Wow. At least you're going with a bang, with these awards.
It's a pity, because I'm certain I'm not the only one who found your competitions pretty good, honest (fair), and inventive.

Hope your reason for parting isn't anything negative, and I hope you will...

So...you're leaving permanantly, not just standing down from modship? Is this the case for Aftercrescent as well? Will both of you ever come back, or pop in every now and then?

WHY?!

I'll miss ya both...*sniff* :'(
