Default Gunslinger Competition [RULES]

Gunslinger Competition
Prizes -

1st Place - 10pts
2nd Place - 5pts
3rd Place - 2pts

(The top 3 all receive official TO winners seals too).

Dates

Entries (to be pm'd to 42!) - 1st September - 21st September
Voting - 22nd September - 29th September
Winner's Announced - 30th September

Rules -
"FIRE, ALL GUNS!"
This competition is for building and painting the best gunslinger.
The entry have to be completely gun oriented and preferrably converted. Guns/ranged weaponry are the main aspect in the entries but melee weapons can be present on the model, but not in hand. Both single models and dioramas are allowed.
A simple marine with a bolter won't do here. Dynamic poses are encouraged.
The model does not have to be legal to use in games.
Only one model can be entered and this cannot be a vehicle or a Monstrous creature.
You may include up to three pictures of the model, and the model may not have been entered in a previous competition.

Cheers,

--The Competition Committee

Is it okay to include an unpainted shot to show the model's conversion work alongside painted shots (within the 3 pic limit)?

It is a painting competition, not a conversion one, but I don't think that should be a problem if it's jsut one picture of the three .

Cheers,

Wait a second now. I would say conversions are perfectly ok.
The rules text does say building and painting the best gunslinger...

Oh of course conversions are allowed, I just mean only one of them can be unpainted

Does the model have to be from the GW range? I have a particular 'slinger in mind who would fit perfectly, although he relates to nothing truly tangible in the GW world.
