Default Scenery Painting Competition [RULES]

Dates -

Entries can be sumbitted from the 1st-21st of October
Voting begins on the 22nd of October and ends on the 29th.
Winner announced on the 30th of October.

Prizes -

1st Place - 10pts
2nd Place - 5pts
3rd Place - 2pts

(The top 3 all recieve official TO winners seals too).

Rules -

-You may use any sort of media/materials you wish to create some sort of scenery piece suitable to a 40k or WFB battlefield/world.
-The piece must be fully painted.
-The piece should contain no full warhammer models (of course, deadbodies or pieces of debris, weapons etc. are allowed, just no complete models).
-The maximum size is roughly 3' x 2'/36" x 24" (the base of it that is).

Good luck to all, send your entries to 42 (me) by the deadline, or to any other competition committee member. You can submit up to three pictures of your entry.

Can we include a single based model for scale purposes?

I don't see why not no, as long as it isn't part of the scenery. (i.e just beside it or something will be fine).

If you want to send in your three pictures then you need to host them on something like Photobucket.

You can give us the link or the pictures, it doesn't really matter. Use these for pictures:

You send the pictures in a PM to 42 or any of the other committee members.


I think Mordheim and Necromunda bits can also be used, those games are in the same timeline as WHFB and 40K. LotR doesn't really fit in.

why not its a GW game it has its rights as well , your just being "ringist" i made a desplay peace witch looks ace but oooohhhhh no not in this game you dont buddy!!

Indeed, all that is required of the scenery is that it should be appropriate of a battlefield/world from the 40k universe or WFB world, that makes it pretty open to be honest!
