Default A way to remove certain updating topics?

I don't know about you guys, but I have a number of threads that I hate to have to keep dismissing, popping up in my "Updated Topics" tab.

Many of these are games I played waay back when I first started the site or too long ago to care. I just want them to stop popping up (especially that stupid killing each other game/"Death By...").

Think we can get a way to remove ourselves from those topics? Something like a purge button to keep those old, gigantic topics from annoying us? :P

I think this has come up before, to no avail...

I guess one way would be to find your posts in those topics and delete them.

If that's all there is to it then I'll do that if need be. :-\

I just want the pain to stop. :

Search isn't working right. I don't really have the time to go through hundreds upon hundreds of pages to do this.

Is there any other way to quickly identify them and kill them? :P

Ah, I thought the 'Remove this message' button was a feature common to everyone.
You could always ask the relevant Mod nicely.

I feel this button needs adding for all even if it is just for the enclave. As mist people know (particularly enclave games) topics don't die they go to sleep before coming back again.

I shall have a look at the extent of my enclave posting and see if it is nit too much for a mod to delete.

I would also like to see this as a feature.

Main topics coming to mind are the two spam threads and the music/picture of yourself threads.

Luckily I never posted in the Spam 2.0 thread and the other is locked.

Both topics you mentioned at the end are in my list of things I'd rather not see each time I look into my updated threads though.
