We all like reading them, many of us like writing them, and most of us are missing out on at least some of them. Bat reps, especially when well made, are great fun to read, and can be of incredible use to beginners (of course, you all knew that).

However, why must they all be posted in the individual army boards? I find I'm missing out on something, when there are reports posted on the boards I don't normally visit (DH, WH, chaos, Orks, and more.) So, I was thinking, it might be a good Idea to give battle reports a board of there own, where players of all stripes can post there battles. That way, everyone on the forum will be able to profit from, and enjoy, their experience. It will certainly help get some visibility for those less common armies (provided someone is willing to post their battle report featuring said armies) I would find battles featuring Orks vs Dark Eldar quite interesting.. and as those are two boards I never visit... it would be easy for me, and many others, to overlook.

Anyways,... just a friendly suggestion.

I think it is time for me to add a bit of my opinions here.

The first thing I could say is that you are trading entertainment for experience here. My first point, by keeping all of the different bat-reps for each of the different races in their respective areas you have a reference for all of the beggining players. Secondly, all of the experienced people who are still bothered to check the boards have easier access to them when they feel inclined to do so.

Basically, adding another board would make Bat-Reps more of a "hey look at thi, I need help!" thing as opposed to a "hey, I need some advice, heres my list and playing style" thing.

And a Bat-Rep board has been discussed many times before, and if I remember correctly we tried it a long, long time ago....

As Lonely Tau said, this has been discussed before.. at least 5 times. The board also was tried out before, although it became inactive quickly.

I think it's best to keep battle reports to the army boards, it makes more sense to me.
