Default Uploaded Files: Monthly Purges?

As well all know,

uploaded files do take up some space, and, if we get big, it could get out of hand. As a

precationary measure, i advise a monthly purge done by Myself, and maybe GOD and

TauOnline, and any other Globals/ Admins who may emerge in the future, as well as the

moderators of forums involved too, to get rid of any attachments in old topics, or any

attachemnts that were site submissions and as such, were already put up.

What

do we all think of this?

I agree 100% ;D I think that once a

month (Say first of every month) We go through every topic which has attachments in it,

and if the topic isn't active (Say hasn't had posts in 5 days) We delete the

attachment from that post. I have a list of all the attachment's in every topic so

it won't be that hard to do.

Iwould say five days is a bit short a time.

What about a month. Coz lets say someone goes on a holiday, and there is a thread thats

waiting for said persons reply.

Ok so every 1[sup]st[/sup] of the month,

we/I/whatever looks at the attachment thing and looks if the thread is still active. If

it hasn't had any new posts in 2 weeks, delete the attachment?

Just to idiot proof

this (for myself...): by "Attachments" you mean... what? Images, links to

websites or something else?

When you post click on the "Additional Options... " tab.

It allows you to upload images to my host
