This is the first Tau 1700 pt list I have tried making. Comments and suggestions welcome. Its a mech tau list for the most part, I just like to have 1 firewarrior unit sit back to give 30" fire support and contest my home quarter should it come up. There is lots of armour to shoot at so it will be difficult to take it all out, and it all poses a threat (even if my opponent doesnt think so)

Forgeworld list, nice. ;D
Looks pretty solid to me so long as you don't hope to do any volume markerlighting for your regulars. As an infantry unit supported by seekers, it's excellent. Heheh, can't stop grinning reading that list. I love Tetras, I love the '84, and I love the concept of infantry supported by seekers. You playing a defensive scenario? Cool to play in a tournament that lets you use forgeworld..

Just a quick question: Are Forgeworld army lists allowed? In many tournaments the lists have to be GW...

Forgeworld is always at the discretion of the tournament organizers, or your opponent.

However it says in the Canadian Conflict rules that you may use Forgeworld models and Allies, so one can only assume that you may use the forgeworld rules for said vehicles. -Legacy40k |

Hm. Forgeworld "models" may refer to their "artistic" versions of regular models, or accessories to make, say, your terminators look like Space Wolves Terminators or whatever. You may want to double-check that. That said, I hope you get lucky and get to use those tetras, because they're hot. ;D
