For consideration vs 'nids. Fire saturation is the goal, line up the four shas'la squads in 2x6 lines behind a line of 12 Gue'vesa. The two squadrons for Drones to protect the flanks, with the XV-8's adding mobile fire power. Shas'o Bob is around to take care of any big bugs that get close. RailHead for more fire power, target lock to allow firing the sms at sepeseparategets. Thinking about a missile to replace the rail head. Dunno yet, I'd like to play both options; missilegives me the four S7 shots vs a S6 pie plate... also w/ the points I could bring the drones up to full strength.

For the cost of the HH, you could get almost two BS; yes the submunitions are nice but RR kill monsters too. You need crisis! Static FW without a quick reacting midrange force will get rolled. All the enemy will need to do is get hordes on both ends and your middle will not be able to react.
If I saw this gun line... I'd run my gaunts and spores to one side. All non synasynapsengs to the other. Hug terrain as close as possible. I would avoid the center--maybe send some spore to force you to shoot at them or test leadership--so that you would have to split your fire and use your one tank on one end to the exclusion of the other. Once I got you to commit, I'd send the rest of what I had to the other side and roll up your line. Just me though..perhaps I'm wrong... wanax |

drop the gue'la and gun drones ASAP! Invest in two mobs of kroot. 15 strong. 210 points. counter assault is sorted!
drop the stealthsuits, and invest in a second hammerhead. Reasoning? you have lots of fire warriors, and kroot. you dont need expensive jump troops. and anyway, suits are not great against nids with their movement, especially with leaping, and fleet of... j-s-j-ing will just leas you to being engaged. Ignore it. Second hammerhead. Nids hate armour.

Hi
Gotta agree with Deadnight. I love Stealth Suits but vs. 'nids they can't jump out of the way fast enough. Hormagaunts with a good Fleet-of-Foot roll can assalt 24" in a turn. You might be able to jump and hide one round but not the second round. Two Hammer Heads, two Broadsides, kroot and loads of Pulse Rifle lovin' O0 |
