Ok, so I'm writing a list to use against my friend who plays Guard, and I'm a little over the point limit. My current list looks like this:

I'm really stuck and i can't find a good balance between good Anti-Infantry and Anti-Armour if i remove things. Any advice/criticism would be great

Lets see...your HQ units are killing me here.
Shas`o Do yourself a favor, drop the shield generator, and downgrade this guy to a shas`el. Just this alone will save you 45 pts. Switch up the stimulant injector for a target array. Shas`el (2) -is it possible to twin link missilepods? I cant stand a positional relay unit that is meant to be long range, and its equipped to be short. You spend 28pts alone on weapons, that mean to get close. A shas`el in this format, is, I suppose "ok" because you want your reserve rolls and this set up is ok. However change your weapons, consider twin linking one, or giving it one weapon, a black sun filter, and a positional relay. Otherwise this is fine. now this will be interesting. Your crisis teams dont all have target lock do they? can you break the three man squad down piece by piece, and tell us which has which? |

In the fire warriors team, i suggest you remove photon grenades, because if someone assault you last thing would occur is that your team continue engaged in close combat, remember you are better at shooting this will save you some points, i think FW are great at close range, but i don't like use them to hunt tanks, also have armor 10 i destroy many light vehicles with my pulse rifles, but never at CC, i will remove emp grenades too, that is too expensive, try removing seeker some seeker missiles and change one rail head with a ion head, this is a great medium infantry weapon and can open rhinos and dreadnoughts, and remove saves for the kroots he cant save against bolters, so use the ability in cover, or use the outflank ability.
I see 2 elites slot with 3 crisis team, so if you dont think to add any other elite slot, is better to split the same model in 3 units of 2, because you may hide them better for the shots, and shield drones become this task difficult I think with the 4 firewarriors team in devilfish should be sufficient.
