HQ:
Shas'O w/ plasma gun, TL fusion blaster, HW MT, iridium, HW TL- 143 2 Shas'vre w/ plasma, fusion, targetting array, HW mt- 164 Elites: Crisis team w/ Team leader, TL fusion, targetting array, HW MT, HW TL- 68 2 suits w/ fusion, plasma gun, multi tracker- 144 Crisis team w/ Team leader, TL fusion targetting array, HW MT, HW TL- 68 2 suits w/ flamer, plasma gun, multi tracker- 108 Crisis team w/ Team leader, TL fusion, targetting array, HW MT, HW TL- 68 2 suits w/ flamer, plasma gun, multi tracker- 108 Troops: Fire warriors squad w/ 10 fire warriors w/ DF, DP- 185 Fire warriors squad w/ 10 fire warriors w/ DF, DP- 185 Fast attack: Pathfinder team w/ 4 pathfinders, DF, DP - 133 Pathfinder team w/ 4 pathfinders, DF, DP, - 133 1503 So this whole list is suppose to be an aggressive DS'ing suit list. I"ve won 2 and drawn once with it so far so it seems to work. a highlight of one game was when crisis came down and the target lock team leader blew up one tank, and the two suits flamed ten IG to death. next turn they did the same. in two turns killed 2 tanks, 20 guardsmen. So if i can pull it off it works well, and the re rolls help a lot. Any comments or suggestions on how to make it better?

The only thing I reccomend besides get more troops, is to divide your suits so you have a team with twin linked fusion cannons, a team with twin linked plasma rifles, and a team with twin linked flamers. As for what the third hardpoint should be, for the fusion cannons, I recommend targeting arrays or shield generators, the plasma rifles, targeting arrays, and for the flamers, drone controllers with 1-2 drone gun drones. Also, if you decide to take 'vres in the teams, I would recommend the following.
Fusion team, 'vre with fusion cannon, missile pod, targeting array, HW-multi tracker Plasma team, 'vre with plasma and fusion cannon/CIB, targeting array, HW-multi tracker Flamer team (you really shouldn't take a 'vre with them) 'vre with flamer, twin linked burst cannons, HW-multi tracker, (optional) HW-drone controller with 2 gun drones. I must make a last suggestion which is to get rid of the second fusion cannon on your commander. Replace it with a shield generator. Also, you don't really need his target lock, consider giving him stims instead.

Well originally this was to fight a lot of MEQ's, and also I wouldnt make the suits to specialized, as they need to fight whatever they land by. Sometimes they scatter off course and end up next to some more meatier units then intended. So if I make flamer burst units and they end up next to some MEQ"s, they're screwed. I think the lay out I have is pretty good, they've helped me so far and killed everything they've met. And I'm short on points for troops, and I dont want to drop the Devil fish because then I wont be able to transport them wherever they need be.

I personally think you should turn your two squad pathfinder team into a one squad team. There's no reason to have them in two squads unless you're likely to be out of line-of-site with the pathfinder's devilfish.
If you are likely to be out of site of the devilfish, I say drop a troop DF and leave one squad of pathfinders to stand and shoot. |

two words: Positional Relay. You do have to put it on a Crisis suit, but a team coming in on a +2 each turn? can't beat it.

With Tau, its a good idea to specialize when deepstriking because they are by far the most accurate at it. With the Path fish, you re-roll to scatter (making an exact hit a .55 chance you get HIT) and the positional relay, you can choose the exact time for your units to come in. Also, if you are going against MEQs, don't take Heatwaves (twin flamers). Its just a waste of points. Instead, I would recommend a Shas'vre with the following.
vre' with AFP, shield generator, Positional relay, Stims, HW-drone controller with 1 shield drones and 1 gun drone. You can stick him behind terrain and still have him be effective thanks to the positional relay and AFP. The rest is just for protection.
