I like the idea of the list (who doesn't love 10 Piranhas? ), but it's very fragile, not to mention that you have a total of 3 weapons which could take down armour above 11. Equipping some of the Piranhas with Fusion Blasters would really help.

Still, aside from the lack of anti-armour the list looks good, those Disruption Pods will really help. I'm not sure whether it's necessary to have your commander as a Shas'o rather than an 'el, those points could be well used elsewhere.

Also as a sidenote, consider the Flechette Dischargers for all the Piranhas. Just be wary of Necrons, they'll toast these guys hard.

Now, I'm not the greatest at crafting the uber-army list, but I'll give you what I got...

Question: Are you trying to make a take all comers list, or a specific army/race? Or is this simply a Tau-wing type force? What are you keeping in reserves, if anything?

With the two FW in fishes you can only possible hold two objectives. That may be enough to win the game, but I believe you're going to see a lot of fire aimed at them. Hold these up, one or both, in reserve to keep your scoring units alive.

There is a lot of points loaded up in the two piranha squadrons. Half of your points! And while burst cannons are great at killing swarms and soft infantry, they can't do much against anything with an AV of 11 or higher. You're going to be hard pressed to get a squadron of 5 skimmers behind your opponents tanks. Likewise, your D-pods are effective beyond 12", giving you a 6" effective range given the burst cannons and drones on the piranhas. Do you plan on using the drones independently from the skimmers? I'd suggest you do, as thats 10 drones in a single squadron that will at least serve as a decent speed bump. Keep them moving fast to compensate for their low AV.

All of your anti-armor weapons are in a single unit, and without the Target Lock, they're going to be firing all their weapons at one target. Expect the low AP stuff to target these guys, and don't expect the one sheild generator to keep them alive for long.

All in all, it would be fun and like you say, it would be fast. But a Kamakazi is really fast too, right before he smashes into a million pieces...

I like the list under the idea of a fun/fast army, but it's not very competitive. About the only thing you'll have a chance with is hoard armies of Orks, Guard or Bugs.

A lot of what I have to say has already been said, though...

Have two of the Pirahna's with Fusion blasters. This allows you to fight off both typs of unit: Armour and Infantry.

Another thing is drop one of the squads of Pirahnas in favor of a Crisis Team. The advantage they'll give you with their larger sellection of weapons will definetly help out. Missile pods are your friends when fighting armour. Matched with the fusion blaster (I know, the ranges don't match up well...) you can pop most tanks easilly. The only thing is the Missile pod can't take AV14, but if you're darring enough to get into half range with the Fusion blaster, you'll be rewarded nicely. The Plasma rifles are nice with the Fusion blaster for hunting TEQ/MEQ, but I still think the Missile pod is better against armour (You can engate multipul shots at further away at a higher strenght).

The marker drones won't really do much on the Command Squad, but if added to an Crisis Team they'll work wonders (As the 'O already hits on 2's, so adding to the BS for the other two suits won't do much. Only really negates cover).

To make your Devilfish even faster, you could add Multi-trackers. This lets you move their full distance and still shoot with BOTH the Burst cannon and the Gun Drones.
