My friend and I are setting up a game this coming week. He just got me into the game and I have been experimenting with different setups. He's bringing Eldar to the table, and this is what I have set up. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Good list, nice and balanced.
What would I do? I'd move your pathfinder squad from 8 in a big clump to, two small squads of four, while moving the devil fish from your fire warriors. While an easy kill point, this allows you to split markerlight fire across the battle field, lighting up units you couldn't before. Then with the new 5th ed rules (dedicated vehicles can have any squad (provided you follow requiments (No Termies!) board a transport) your firewarriors can ride in style to thier destination. ;D Anyway, that's my two cents.

Thanks for the input! I'll definitely consider this. Marker lights are a big deal IMO and I like your suggestion as it maximizes their use.

Pretty good against Eldar. Tailoring lists is really mean, but while we're at it, is he tank heavy? If he isn't, consider a Hammerhead and how the submunition weedwhacks Eldar infantry.

I would watch out for your 6 man fw squads because the're not very mobile and mobile is what eldar are good at and if you lose them then you can't take objectives. Otherwise your army is really well balanced. Having all those mobile suits is good, you'll need them to support your fws. Just remember that concentrating your fire can be the key with tau.
