Will deepstrike on the enemies lines or run up into flamer range, probably the former.
Troop 1: Firewarriors (12) Pulse Rifles, Shas'ui, bonded Total: 135Pts Fairly Cheap, can put out a good amount of shots. Troop 2: Firewarriors (12) Pulse Rifles, Shas'ui, bonded Total: 135Pts Fairly Cheap, can put out a good amount of shots. Troop 3: Firewarriors (12) Pulse Rifles, Shas'ui, bonded Total: 135Pts Fairly Cheap, can put out a good amount of shots. Heavy Support 2: Broadside (1) Drone Controller, 2 Shield Drones Total: 100Pts Your basic tank destroyer, also can be used to cow enemy tanks into hiding from its LoS. Heavy Support 2: Sniper Drone Team(1) Rail Rifles Total: 80Pts Easy markerlight and anti Meq capabilities. With the additional pinning why wouldn't you take one of these guys? Basically, Theres way too many Firewarriors. If someone is trying to get close to these guys there going to eat a lot of pulse fire before they can get their. If all these firewarriors fire into the same squad, that squad is pretty much going to be destroyed. However, the things that worry me are quick assaulters and assaulters that can get you without retaliation. Also, with all these guys, I will be basilisk prey and all weapons like that. Be as harsh as ye want this is just a hypothetical list. Obviously not for tournament play. BE |

If you are worried about hidden basies , drop flamer suits and get one FB TA Piranha.
Other way is to get Crisis Vre with MP FB TA and HWMT .

To deter would be assaulters why not drop a unit or two of Firewarriors to replace with Kroot? Kroot infiltrating near a strong Firewarrior firebase often works very well as an anti assault unit for more static lists. I really like the list you have, though, as it seems to be a fairly representative static list.

I'd definitely say put in the Kroot, probably two squads. You could get just under 40 of them. That's 40 attacks each squad defending, or if you place one squad on each side of your fire base, 120 A on the [counter-] charge. That will rip through the vast majority of any infantry. As was said, infiltrate them (don't deploy them as Troops, you can use Infiltrate (into your own deployment zone if you wish) to counter your opponent's deployment). Kroot shooting is also pretty good. Actually, quick maths reveal that 17 Kroot (119 pts, 1 less than 12 FW) do 1/12 less wounds after saves than 12 FW do, so very comparable. Of course, the FW have the extra 6" range and can benefit from ML, so they are still the more flexible shooters. But, point is, Kroot are still very flexible. The only problem with packing 40 Kroot is you may have a tough time getting enough cover and keeping clear paths for shooting/assault.
