I have a tournament at the store i play at this Saturday, from what i can muster there will be a large variety of players, from SM(Drop pod list is in the air) to IG(Upwards of 5 tanks) and Tyranids (No carnifex ;D, it's seems a balance between swarms and MCs,) So as you can see, i need to be able to take on a wide variety of opponents.

Note: Normally I'd try to fit in some Pathfinders, but after realizing that the DF is a MUST, i'll have to improvise until i get some $$ for the devilfish :-[

This list is not my style, but I will assume you like it, so my advice will only be on the units themselves.

HQ: Why do you want a Shas'O instead of a Shas'El? If you don't need to wounds, int, and WS I would downgrade. Good weapons though.

Elites: If I am reading this right the unit is illegal. You can't have two weapons, a targeting array, and a multitracker on each suit. Do you have it as one unit to use the markerlight? If not I would break them up into two units.

Stealths are good.

Troops: That is a lot of fire warriors, hope they can kill everything before hand to hand combat. Take all the multitrackers out, because they can't use them to fire the markerlight and the pulse rifle, if that's why you have them. Multitrackers only work on battlesuit weapons, which makes me wonder why they are in the infantry armory. Each of the units needs a bonding knife too, since you don't want them to be destroyed after taking casualties, which they will.

Heavy: Your Hammerheads are illegal, they need secondary weapon systems. Pick which ever one you want, but I would add a target lock to both ships, because the primary and secondary systems will have different ideal targets. Why waste SMS on a Land Raider? Shoot something they can kill. If you need some points I would consider downgrading one to an Ionhead, then add a second shield drone to the Broadside and A.S.S system.

The tourny was awesome, although it did result in a 3 way tie. 3 of us got 2 wins/1 loss
But i did notice this list is missing some SIGNIFICANT mobility, especially vs the IG i fought. I need some devilfishs...

Spot on! In my experience, static Fire Warrior squads like that are basiaclly useless. I would definately recommend you make at least two of those squads mechanised.

Sad thing is i don't have 55-110$!

Edit: on an Added note, my 4 man stealthsuits squad killed 2 basilisks, never knew they had it in them.

Ebay is your friend. Pick up models often still in the box for less than half price!

Personally i don't like markerlights on Firewarriors, i really would take them out.

Take out your markerlights, take off the bonding knives, upgrade the teamleaders in the FW's to shas'ui (for LD8), downgrade your Shas'o to a shas'el with the same gear but a TA and HW-MT... and guess what, you have enough points for a 6man pathfinder squad, with shas'ui and devilfish w/ DL. at least, i'm relatively sure you do. i could be wrong.

You know, i would, but i can't use pathfinders, i have no possession of a DF
