Default My starter force (plz read)

I have very little money but this is what i plan on starting with. Eventualy I plan to expand but here is my start. (I'll do wargear later)

Crisis commander
2 crisis suits
10 firewarriors 2 drones mounted on devilfish
12 firewarriors 2 drones
2 broadside battle suits

What do you think?

Well, we need to go into specifics here. If you haven't made an army list with those models yet, I suggest this one:

HQ 1: (1x Shas'el Commander)
(Plasma Rifle, Missile Pod, Multi-tracker) Total: (87 points)
[size=7pt] (Generalized, fits most roles. Fireknife is a good combo when you don't know what you're up against.) [/size]

Elite 1: (2x Crisis Suits)
(Plasma Rifle, Missile Pod, Multi-tracker) Total: (62 points each, 124 total)
[size=7pt] (Same as before, Fireknife Crisis teams are good for most roles. This should be good for both lighter tanks and heavy infantry.) [/size]

[hr]

Troops 1: (10x Fire Warriors, 2x Drones, Devilfish)
(Pulse Rifles and Shas'ui. Devilfish has disruption pods and decoy launchers) Total: (110 for FWs, 20 for Drones, 90 for DF, total 220)
[size=7pt] (The gun drones can pin, the Fire Warriors have pulse rifles for long range, and a Devilfish for running away when they're under attack.) [/size]

Troops 2: (12x Fire Warriors)
(Pulse Carbines and Shas'ui) Total: (130 for FWs, 20 for drones, 150 total)
[size=7pt] (They should be used tactically, pinning enemies while your rifle guys or your Crisis Teams can get better shots on them.) [/size]

Heavy Support 1: (2x Broadsides)
(Shield Generators) Total: (140 for the team, 40 for both generators, 180 total)
[size=7pt] (Deploy these behind cover and make sure they're well defended, as they can't rely completely on the shield generators and their armor saves.) [/size]

[size=14pt]Army Total: (761) [/size]
(though i'm sure your opponent won't mind the extra 11 points and will let you fight at 750 points)

You should definately expand from here. Add in Stealth Teams, some Fast Attack (up to you), some heavier heavy support, and some troops. You're in definate need of a meatshield. Get Kroot.

thanx I have already configured my shas'el but I may get another one because I am regretting my choice of weapons. Also the paint job isn't that good. Thank you for all the help. I actually have a list of what to get next

3 pathfinders + 2 rail rifle pathfinders Devilfish
Full box XV 25 stealth squad
Kroot carnivore squad
16 Kroot Warriors
4 Kroot hounds
1 Kroot Shaper
1 hammerhead gunship
2 piranhas

or you can drop the generators and give them advanced stabalizers, this makes you 9pts under with which you can buy stimulats for your commander to give him a longer life expectancy

Shield Drones are way better than Shield Gens on Broadsides. Upgrade the one to a team leader for 5 points, then get a hardwired drone controller and 2 shield drones.

They add 2 wounds with 2+/4+ saves and the same T as the sides. Plus you save 5 points. I'd also go ahead and give them the A.S.S. for their hardpoint as having mobile sides is a nice way to go.
