what is the purpose of this squad? being a jack of all trades makes you absolutely useless. Their is one model in my army that is like that, my commander. Why? because he has BS 5, and can make use of two weapons that have nothing to do with each other well. So no bodyguard. Second, the airbursting gun is useless on a commander. it's a waste of his BS. Go CIB, plasma rifle, and you won't eb too far off. and just lose the bodyguard. they suck, no offense

most useless unit ever... just lose it. only use ethereals in games of like 3000 points, or in a mega battle with Tau, or just leave hima s forgot his rules only apply if your within LOS of him anyway...

for the stealths, lose all the extra stuff. a six man-180 point squad is perfect for hoard hunting. as for the crisis suits... again, jack of all trades, master of none. Make them marine hunters. three suits with TL plasma rifle and targeting array for 165 points. Great deal.

lose the markre drones... they are useless and give your troops section all the extra points you'll have once i'm through with you list. People don't like min-maxers

good solid units. just remember to assault those marines after shooting them with teh vespids as they can't take the return fire as well. Plus we out initiative them oh, and give vespids markerlight priority. They need it. Oh, and teh shas'ui needs a HW TL

DECOY LAUNCHERS you twat!!! > all our vehicles need to be equipped with one. Lose teh disruption pod if you have to, but otherwise a good tank. The broadsides need a bit of work. Give them all teh advanced stabilization system. the move is better then BS4. You have pathfinders for that. split them into a team of one and a team of two. More versatile. You could even give the lomne guy the targeting array. just make sure he can see teh opponent

I know I seem as harsh, but these are elementary mistakes that you don't want to make later on, mainly the XV8s. It's an art you'll learn, and I just want it learned faster. remember this for teh XV8s. keep an objective in mind when you design. even if you don't face light tanks, remember missile pods are great against any random thing form greater deamons to bikes to marines to light tanks. everything else is specific. I hope I helped a bit in your understanding of our empire.

Cheers!

P.S. DO NOT EVER stick points costs of individual models in army lists. It canget you banned. squad points are fine, but not model costs.

It's a much better list. However, the command squad doesn't need drones, or shield drones if you must have them. Remember the jack of all trades, amster of none thing. having a marker drone makes them useless. I'd personally drop them. and lose one of the target locks. You only need one to shoot in two different directions. the crisis suits are okay, i just hate fireknives, but if you like em, keep em. Just don't expect to much out of them. and I still don't see the point of the TAs on the stealths. I just don't. Use markerlights well, and you save 60 points. Troops are fine, as are fast attack. the broadsides are okay, but you don't need all the extra stuff. two shas'ui is great with the A.S.S. since you have two squads. With the spare points, get two extra fire warrior teams.

Fire Warrior Team (135)
-shas'ui with bonding knife
-shas'la x11

that's all. then you have seven points. Overall, much better list, but it works, with skill.

oh, and check out my JSJ article http://forums.tauonline.org/index.php?topic=14978.0
it helps for moving crisis suits about and such.
