Hey all. Been dragging around the forums for a while now, and have finally refined my list into something worthy (so I think). Suggestions welcomed, but remember that I am playing a hybrid army, and prefer to specialize each troop choice to do one thing (Anti infantry, anti tank, skirmish, ect). On to the list!
Another note, I lost my codex abot a month ago, so am posting the points values completely from memory! Please double check my points values if you find something amiss. HQ Choice-100 Pts Shas'El-100 Points Plasma Rifle CIB Targeting Array HW Multi Tracker Elite Choices-334 Pts Crisis Team (2 man)-112 Pts Plasma Rifle Burst Cannon Multi Tracker Stealth Team (4 man)-120 Pts Crisis Team (2 man)102 Pts TL Missile Pods Targeting Array Troop Choices-525 Pts Firewarrior Team (12 Man)-135 Pts Bonded Shas'ui Firewarrior Team (12 Man)-135 PTs Bonded Shas'ui Fire Warrior Team (12 Man Mounted)-135 Pts Bonded Shas'ui Attached Warfish-120 Pts Smart Missile System Target Array Multi Tracker Disruption Pod Fast Attack Choices-231 Pts Pathfinder Squad(8 Man) -111 Pts -Shas'ui -Bonded Attached Warfish-120 Pts Smart Missile System Target Array Multi Tracker Disruption Pod Heavy Support Choices-335 Pts Hammerhead-175 Pts Railgun SMS Disruption Pod Multi Tracker Broadside Team (2 man)-160 Pts Advanced Stabilization System Grand Total-1525 Pts The way this army plays out is as a hybrid force consisting of 3 elements; a static line, a flanking armored contingent, and skirmishers. The two Firewarrior squads, and the Broadside team set up the static element of my army. The pathfinders support them with markerlight help in cover nearby. My stealth team will be ahead of the firewarriors, acting as a pseudo speed bump incase of rushing forces. The skimmers move as a flanking element, grabbing objectives and trying to keep the opponent from fully committing his force against my static element, as well as off-ballancing any strategy he may have. The two warfish move together, and are equipped exactly the same, so that if he suspects I have firewarriors in one, its russian roulette to see if he hits the one with my troops inside. The last element is the skirmish element, which consists again of the stealth suits, and my crisis suits. Their job is to whittle the enemy down from range, maximizing enemy casualties and minimizing my own. Please note, this WHOLE hunter cadre is designed to fit into one Manta Missile Destroyer, which can only hold up to 4 tanks. |
