Default The last 39 points are the hardest.

I'm creating the best 1,000 point list I can. I can tell you that this is REALLY solid. The problem is, at 1k, I don't have room for Pathfinders. Leaving me to do without my favorite filler: Seeker Missiles. Damn. So, I'm at a loss of how to fill the last 39 points.

Heres da list:

HQ 1: Shas'el, Plasma Rifle, Cyclic Ionic Blaster, Targetting Array
Total: 100pts
This guy scoots around, threatening any infantry. I love it.
Elite 1: Helios
Total: 63pts
Hunts Terminators, Space Marines, and tanks.

Elite 2: Helios
Total: 63
Same as above, really.

Elite 3: 4x Stealthsuits
Total: 120 pts
Infiltrate to a good position, shoot up the enemy.
Troop 1: 10x Fire Warriors, Devilfish Transport, Multitracker, Decoy, Targetting Array, and SMS.
Total: 220pts
They move around, find a good firing position, and shoot. Some FOF, some not. I'm not afraid to move them away.

Troop 2: Same as above
Total: 220pts
Same as above
Heavy Support 1: Hammerhead Gunship, Multi, Decoy, SMS, Railgun.
Total: 175pts
Eats tanks, crunches infantry, questions opponent's manhood.

Army Total: 961pts

I was considering adding four gun drones to the stealth team, bringing me to 1001 points. What do you foos think?

You could add a Shas'vre stealthsuit to your team, giving you an additional burst cannon and putting the army at 1001 pts.

Or you could add 4 FW, spread out between your teams. I understand that 10 fit better for FoF purposes though, so maybe not.

You could give a markerdrone to one team of FW, and slap a seeker missile on somewhere. plus, the markerdrone would be useful for FoF- drop, raise BS , fire!

Actually you've got 42 points because each helios only costs 62, not 63.

Also I'm assuming your shas'el has a hard wired multi tracker.

Okay moving on, 42 points, what to do with it?

4 Gun drones added to the stealths is definitley a pretty solid option.

But how about this, take the stealths out entirely (hear me out!)

This leaves you with 162 points.

Add in this:

Hammerhead w/ ion cannon, 2 burst cannons, multi tracker, decoy launchers,
130

That leaves you with 32 points.

Make both helios team leaders (Since they are in seperate squads!) Hard-wire the multi tracker and give them targeting arrays.

Total points: 998

I like it. Very good solution... the BS4 Helios are definantly worth it.

However! I need the Stealths. Without them, I don't have that turn-1-in-your-face pulse fire that gives my opponent a clear idea of what the game is going to be like.

I'm Shas'vreing the Helios, adding a TA and HW the MT.

Thanks guys!
