The whole list comes out to 1979 preety good when you dont have the rule book.

The biggest problem i can see is your Shas'O

Drop the stim injectors and the sheild gen and let his IC status do all the work similarly take the CIB its a wonderful all round weapon.

I wouldn't describe the CIB as an "all round weapon". It's kind of elongated and has several... sorry

The list is good, fast on its feet and youll definitely be the king of mobility even against DE, just shoot the transports. I cant say i love the 2 piranah squads especially because their best at killing tanks, i would say drop one and go for some pathfinders.

In my un-expert opinion i think its quite good. good mobility good firepower and a good alround capability to kill anything stup..umm, unlucky enough to get in the way LOL ;D

While i hate pathfinders too (because i can never seem to get anything right with them) i think the only problem here is your commander. i would suggest a CIB,MP, HW MT,SI,VRT-127 points. this isnt a particularly "pimped out" commander but is still affective in mud and water. the whole point of this commander is to be aggresive and run up,fire, get into assualt and then run away like the Tau you are, prefferably behind terrain.

My main advice is to split the 2 units of piranhas into 3. Its the same ammount of fire output, the same number of casualties before it becomes non-scoring, and most importantly, means your opponent has to split fire, being only able to hit 2 piranhas at a time instead of 3 with a single squad.

Wow, I was told my one of the other Tau players I know that this was a cheese fest, and that he would never even consider playing it (Despite my old list has never lost in that gaming circle : and he gets torn to bitz every time)

Glad for the advice, any idea the full cost of the army?

And, as I forgot to before
My famed 8 step Themed Army Template (Back when I was Lynx)

Background: During the 3rd Sphere expansion, Shas'Va'O Mont'yr was leading a large fleet to expand into Gulf. While searching for a habitable world, they were attaecked by pirates while in survay of a planet with unadvanced race. The pirates were Eldar. The fleet was siazable, numbering in nearly 20 capital ships. After the engagement with the Eldar pirates, only one Tau capital ship was still intact, and it's Warp drive was destroyed. They still had several warp cabable smaller ships, but rather than return to the Empire, they pulled a Farsight. The sent a small ship back to the Empire telling them that they needed supplies to continue the expansion, and they have a supply route keeping them well supplied, and manned. They are still considered to be outcasts, and eyed with much suspision. They have come to blows with the Tau Empire more than once.

Characher: O'Jakkra. The commander of the most powerful and experianced Land based divison of Hydras. He is trained in virtually all aspects of warfare. He is Suncrusher proteage, and Suncrusher will dispatch his Elite to aid. {The Suncrusher Elite is an army made up of Stealth Suits and only Stealth Suits. They have control of the Tol'Anuk Capital Ship, the first the Fio produced in the Enclave, after reparing the engines on the Va'Tol'Malcoar of High Commander Brightwind} O Jakkra has had much experiance in fighting the Eldar, and uses his weapons to destroy entire Farseer Command Squads.
