MP, TA, HW MT)=97 Elites 3 Crisis Suits (All TL MP, Flamers)=141 3 Crisis Suits (All TL PR, Flamers)=177 3 Crisis Suits (Shas'Ver with CIB, BC, HW MT, 2 HW Gun Drones. 2 Shas'Ui with TL BC, 2 GD each)=197 Troops 12 Fire Warriors (All pulse Carbines)=120 12 Fire Warriors (All Pulse Rifles), Devilfish (Decoy Launchers)=205 12 Fire Warriors (All Pulse Rifles), Devilfish (Decoy Launchers)=205 20 Kroot, Shaper, 1 Kroot Hound=167 Fast Attack 4 Gun Drones=48 Heavy Support Hammerhead (Rail Gun, SMS, MT, DP)=175 Hammerhead (Rail Gun, SMS, MT, DP)=175 Sniper Drones (2 Teams)=160 So there's my take all commers list. i would say that you dont necesarily need flamers on a suit but instead it would be better to have a multi tracker instead of a TL MP, just because if your flamers work they will want some supporting fire (missle pods).
the troops are good for the most part because it doesnt seem as though you will find too many units that can be pinned or it is really hard to pin them. Fast attack is the same as above accept that when they deep strike it can give you an opportunity to get an important unit some time to set up by assualting with the gun drones or if you set them up close enough you can use them to make people take target priority tests. Heavy Support is excellen...wait a minute, switch out Disruption pods with Decoy launchers, you will mainly only get hit with glancing shots anyways why not make their attacks less effective? otherwise you have a greatly balanced all comers list. |

As Lonely Tau said, switch the DP's to Decoy Launchers.
I think 4 Gun Drones is just silly. Take those out. Why do those FW have carbines?! Rifles dude. Make your Shas'o the same as your Shas'el IMO. A Crisis with Burst Cannon, Missiel Pod, and MT is 50 Points. Consider that instead of your 6 TwLMP/PR suits. That last Crisis Team looks damn expensive... Essentially: Go through your list and cut out the frill in favor of efficiency, that includes reconsidering what may look efficient/cheap (TwL MP/Flamer vs MP/BC.MT) and consider Pathfinders/Piranha's.

Carbines: I don't know why, but for some reason I really like carbines. Can't quite put my finger on it, could be the fact they effectivly have a 24" range (18"+6" for moving) that unit would tend to run around alot to react to threats better. Gun Drone Squad was becasue I can use them, as you perdicted, DS and casue havoc behind a unit or try and kill a tank. As for Decoy Launchers, there is nothing more anoying for me than being imoblised. Quote:
the last Crisis team is expensive, yes, but consider the amount of shots it can pump out! 6 BC shots rerolling, 6 PC shots rerolling, 3 more BC shots and 5(!!!) CIB rounds! That's a whole lot of death.
