Default Weak on Anti-Tank?

I don't have the new codex, but I have been able to put this together...

HQ 1:
Shas'El
CIB, PR, TA, HW MT Total: 100 pts
Elite 1:
Stealthsuits and drones Total: ~180 points

Elite 2:
2x Crisis suit, TL MP and TA Total: ~100 points

Elite 3:
Stealth suits and drones Total: ~180 points
Troop 1:
10 FW, appropriately tooled out DF Total: 220 points

Troop 2:
10 FW, approprietly tooled out DF Total: 220 points
Fast Attack 1:
Pathfinders, approprietly tooled out DF Total: ~220 points

Fast Attack 2:
Pathfinders, approprietly tooled out DF Total: ~220 points
Heavy Support 1:
Railhead Total: ~220 points

Heavy Support 2:
Railhead Total: ~220 points

Heavy Support 3:
Ionhead Total: ~140 points

Also, six seeker missiles... spread out amound all the tanks.

Army Total: 2,000 points exactly

Now, here is the doozy... do I drop a PF team for three Pirranahs w/ FBs?

Or will those PFs just use the Seekers for similar effect, and help the rest of my army hit on 2s, wound on 3s, and not give about whatever armor save you have?

Also, considering an extra 500 points with another detatchment (Not replacing the PFs):

280 points of 40 Kroot

Another one of those Shas'Els (100 points)

Some Pirranahs.

(Note: Would a good pirranah cost 60 or 80 points?)

[edit] Fine Olannon, have your way!

I thought you said something about using my new code :P

I'd say drop some pathfinders, you can almost never find place for 2 full teams. One should suffice; by far.

I was thinking of using it, but it was so much easier to cut and paste this from Notepad...

You think the immense flexibility isn't worth it? Pathfinder Team Proxy, launch seekers!

Hehe, since I spent ~1 hour making it; you should take at least 5 mins to copy/paste properly. When posting an army list, please post it in a way that makes it easy on the eyes and all. So pretty please, with sugar on top, use the ******** frame (pulp fiction)

just kidding. To a degree at least, but I would very much like you to post a list in a way that makes it easy to look at and comment on. Either devise your own way, ot use the existing template. Don't be lazy when it makes it so much easier for the ones trying to help you.

Mech,

I have debated using a very similar list to yours ie 2 pathfinder squads .... and I came to the conclusion that if you going to drop the PF in the 1st turn and go hunting with their DF why have 2 8 man squads. I was thinking of 2 5 an squads ( 10 ML still ) and letting the FD running a muck after that. Also the point saving goes toward another squad of 9 FW and DF.

Right. I only need two ML to hit... so maybe two squads of six? That would free up some points.

Man, that lists look very clean and seems easy on the eyes! Where did you find that code j/k

Anyway, concerning the list:

-2 x 6 Pathfinders would probably be better.
-Give one of your deathrain crisis a target lock (maybe team leader upgrade to hard-wire it if you don't want to lose the TA)
-Get the codex!

List looks solid, good luck

i woulf lose the 2nd railhead and get a skyray instead. Especially for your army a skyray is a must-have weapons platform. I would even consider dropping the ionhead for another skyray.

trust me 2 units of pathfinders and 2 skyrays will be incredibly dangerous!

I'm fine. I really think I have enough ML and seekers.

Olannon: I would, but my store is sold out and having trouble restocking.
