Default Primarch Information

i have found one of the best sites for fluff, it is an online encyclopedia, and has tons of information... ever wondered what happened to the Primarch's? here it is...
Today, all the Primarchs are either damned, lost or dead. Sanguinius died at the hands of Horus, who in turn later died at the hands of the Emperor. Ferrus Manus of the iron hands died on Istvaan V at the start of the heresy. Over the next thousand years, the other remaining loyalist primarchs died or disappeared one by one. Lion El'Jonson of the Dark Angels returned to his homeworld to find it in ruins and the Dark Angel space marines he had left rebelled to chaos. He led a strike force of his own space marines against the traitors on the surface and he fought with a burning hate for his lost sons. He was lost amongst the inferno as the world was blasted apart by both a warp storm and a bombardment from his ships in orbit. Whether he stills lives is unknown. Jaghatai Khan of the White Scars disappeared through a Dark Eldar warp portal whilst he was pursuing them after a raid on the White Scar homeworld. Rumours abound that he fights on still, lost in the twisting paths of the Eldar webway, but after nine thousand years it seems unlikely. Leman Russ of the Space Wovles is the only primarch whose disappearance appears to be voluntary. The Space Wolves hold a legend that say Russ went on a quest to find a means to cure the Emperor but the truth is likely to be far more sinister. Rogal Dorn of the Imperial Fists died fighting on a traitor cruiser alongside a company of his sons. He was one of the last Primarchs to die. Today, all that remains of him is a single gauntlet fist that is housed in the holiest shrine of the Imperial Fists chapter. Roboute Guilliman of the Ultramarines met his end against his own brother Fulgrim. Today, his body lies at the heart of the temple of correction, maintained in a stasis field to perserve it. He is the only primarch to die whose body has been found by his sons and it said to be an awe-inspiring experience to see such a holy sight, the bleeding wounds of his death still vividly visible upon his neck. It is little known how Vulkan of the Salamanders died. As far as it is known, he vanished into thin air as mysteriously as Leman Russ. Corax of the Raven Guard's end was tainted by guilt and shame. In order to rebuild the strength of his sons from the destruction of Istvaan V, Corax accelerated the growth of the geneseed organs, producing more of them but also deteriorating them rapidly, causing many to become hulking monsters. Riddled with guilt over what he had done, Corax locked himself away within his sanctum, the Raven's Tower, for a year. On the anniversary date of his self-imposed exile, he left his tower, haggard and gaunt, and took a small shuttlecraft. It was last monitored as setting a course for the Eye of Terror, the realm of the Chaos gods.

Of all the Primarchs, only the dammed Primarchs of Chaos live today, although to say that they truly live is a gross misstatement since their bodies, minds and souls now exist exclusively within the power of Chaos.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primarch that is the site...

This stuff is throughout the net:

Lion el'johnson - is in a stasis field in a hidden room in the rock, watched over by the watchers. None but they know of this secret location
Fulgrim - if you believe SabreTooths' Horus heresy fluff he was posessed by a daemon long before the emperor came along. And this being was the one that sided with horus. the shell of fulgrim is a daemon prince. the man is dead.
Perturabo - daemon prince
Jaghatai Khan - lost in the webway. Some believe him to be fighting in the Dark Eldar gladitorial pits.
Leman Russ - left for the eye of terror. None know why, but thirteenth company fluff indicates their lords are vassals to an individual who has yet to show himself in the conflict. this could hint that Russ leads the 13th himself. A lot of fluff alluded to this possibility.
Dorn - Dead. Killed by a meltagun on the bridge of a chaos ship
Curze - Believed to be dead. Body never found. Thought killed by an assassin
Sanguinius - deader than dead. Destroyed utterly by Horus.
Ferrus Manus - dead. body never found, but Sabretooth games has fluff that the daemon possessed fulgrim chops his head off and gives it to Horus.
Angron - daemon Prince. Banished to the warp for a thousand years and a day by grey knights/ space wolves at the first battle of armageddon
Gulliman - in a stasis field. "Killed" by Fulgrim. Supposedly dead, but his wounds are believed to be healing
Mortarion - daemon prince
Magnus - daemon prince
Horus - dead. Emperor dude killed him
Lorgar - daemon prince
Vulkan - dead. died, most probably of old age. Index Astartes fluff hints at the last primarch died like this. He "died", as opposed to "was killed" He was the last.
Corax - buggered off. Some fluff indicates he is in fact in the Black Library reading up on chaos.
Alpharius - killed by Gulliman.

None can step before them, they are the first, proud in their strength and jealous of their renown. Through the storms of the warp they come, upon the very tides of terror, but of such dangers they are uncaring. They are the Space Wolves, the Undefeated, the bane of the Emperor's foes."

Notice how eager GW are to play the "becomes a Daemon Prince" card whenever a Chaos hero needs to die...

Where does it say Dorn is dead. All they found is his hand, he MAY be alive....

Same for Ferrus....some fluff says he is all on Mars.

Regarding Dorn: Even without their Primarch, the Imperial Fists were able to get to the right place at the right time. They boarded the Sword of Sacrilege before it could flee and recovered what remained of Rogal Dorn. His engraved skeletal hand continues to be maintained in stasis, their holiest icon, and serves as a constant reminder of the commitment expected of a Space Marine. from index astartes.

to the latter, the fact the iron hands deny it utterly means that yes, he IS dead.
The body of Ferrus was never found, however, and many believe he somehow survived. One particular story is that his wrecked body was rescued and restored, and that he took refuge on Mars where he resides still, though this is violently refuted by the Iron Hands themselves
And as stated, Sabretooth games (which should NEVEr have been allowed to rape the HH fluff) have FUlgrim handing Horus Manus' head.

Hey, the Iron hands may be wrong, and that thing about the Imp Fists never actually says that he is dead.
