In my opinion the space wolves best unit is the venerable dreadnought but thats my opinion I wanna hear yours ;D

Wulfen. the dread is nasty, but it only takes one lucky shot to take it out. wulfen generally take several. and chew through everything in their path unless its got power armour or better.

wulfen aren't regular SW tho...and personally, i'd say one of the 2 regular troop-types. bloodclaws, cos they're the cheapest most effective shock troop around...and if you have a runepriest, they just get better. hunters cos they're surprisingly vicious...bolters and 2 attacks a piece is a whole lot nastier than it seems...and with counter-charge, its damn hard to win combat against 'em

oh, and with the vennie dread: you need a lucky shot...plus a lucky re-roll . the exact odds of nuking a hull-down vennie dread are 1 in 36

if you think about it blodied fangs, they have to have a minimum of eight in a squad so it pointless realy (apart from them kicking as* in close combat ) , because grey hunters have aminimum of six in a squad so relly it adds up to the same ammount of points 8)
