The FW dread is firstly different beceause it is specially made so Daemonhunter players with big budjets can have a unique look for their armies.

MkIV dreads also are older in design, so they are better for use as Venerable Dreadnaughts.

EDIT: I'm not trying to make myself feel superior. These forums just have a spelling and grammar policy and it's difficult to reply when you can't understand what someone is saying.

Not really.* They where made as a model to fill that role and to give the dread a more unified look with a Grey Knight force, but they could be used for anything.* The one in the picture you pointed out though is modelled with the GK insignia as well as the Inquisitorial =I=.* There are others if I rember in there that are both for other marines and for Chaos.

wookie, cool it. Auin' Myrrath was merely trying to do the right thing, and comply as totally to the rules as possible, so leave him alone. personally, i'm glad he's happy to go back and make sure his spelling and punctuation are immaculate. it means he cares. and its more than any of the rest of us do.
