Do death company take up Elite Slot? i noticed a lot of people taking more then 3 elite troop choice with them.

No - Death Company count as Elites, but take up no spaces on the Force Organisation Chart.

Death company count as 1 squad/unit. But as Wargamer said, they do not use a slot in your force organization chart. So blood angels players can take up to 10 of them if they pay for them. but I talked to someone at games workshop, and a little trick you can do is, if you just get them free from the squads, you can exceed 10 (works well for apocalypse)

It's not really a trick. It's explained in the codex. You get one free DC model for every qualifying unit you take (termies, assault squad, honor guard, devastators, veterans, and tacticals). If you fill up the FOC with these units you can get a unit of 14 DC (2 HG, 3 elite, 6 troops and 3 heavy). It just takes you a minimum of 1935 points to get there.

If you don't fill up the chart with qualifying units you may however purchase an amount of DC to fill the squad to 10, but may not purchase anymore past 10.
