Well after my latest encounter with the Chaos Scum i noticed a 'Formula' which seems to work Quite efficiently.
![]() Null Zone + High No of Shot Guns = Dead Blood letters As you all know what Null Zone does but then use this with heavy bolters say,and what do you have? 3 shots with a high Strength forcing re-rolls. It seems to work quite efficient with the Lesser Daemons in a chaos daemon army. Just thought i'd share what i believe to be a quite good combo.

Thanks for sharing that. Null zone is also great against seer councils, storm shield terminators and ork nobz with cybork bodies. It is pretty close to a "must have" psychic power.

Any hints for fighting them up close? After all, we all know what happens when bloodletters get close to space marines.......... Don't we Henderson? >
(lol)Bloodletters charge marines = Dead Marines No but in all seriousness what can Marines do against Khorne Daemons up close. The Librarians force weapon does not affect any Daemons as they all benefit from the eternal warrior rule. Plus when bloodletters charge they go before the marines.

I would imagine the rule of thumb would be, don't let them charge you. There's just some units that can't be dealt with up close without a monster CC unit, which the marines really don't have outside of terminators, which are really no better off than a much cheaper assault squad against Bloodletters. If I had to pick something, I'd go with a dreadnaught since they can't hurt it, but it would take a REALLY long time to actually finish off a full squad that way.

Perhaps a tank shock? That might give you a turn to bring more firepower on the spawn of the warp.

The best remedy for Bloodletters is to just stay the heck away from them.
I have also taken to bringing a Squad of Grey Knights Terminators to practically every game. They're good against anything, but if Daemons show up you just hit them with the Incinerator and that's pretty much that.
