Default Quick question:where do I find...

The correct rules for death watch.
I have an ordo Xeno's army and would like to play with death watch but all I find is an old (300 something) white dwarf. is it still legal?
Do I use 'nilla marines with inqusitor allies or is there another way?
thnx.

They're not legal any more.

There are several options to fielding your kill team legally:
I play them as Sternguard. They have a larger variety of ammo to fire, that comes with their equipment instead of you having the purchase it. I also have a Wolfguard power fist model w/ a storm bolter that I count as Pedro Kantor. If you wanted to field a deathwatch "army" you can take scouts as troops to avoid having to explain the presence of 'nilla marines. Its possible that scouts tagged along with the kill team. I also have an OOP space wolf venerable dreadnought I painted Ordo-Xenos style that I count as a std. venerable dreadnought.

Or, you could do inquisition base list with space marine allies. If you do this, however, you'll have to play your Ordo Xenos as regular marines without any special equipment--like the hellfire rounds the Sternguard get.

I recommend doing a Sternguard based SM list. If you want to take an inquisitor you still can with a base SM list.

Alternatively, quite a few people have attempted to make '5th Ed.' Deathwatch on this site; do a search in House Rules for Deathwatch and see what comes up.
