Default Firing the Thunderfire Cannon (Rule Question)

I'm hoping this will be a relatively quick question. My apologies if it seems simple enough but I'm new to the game and the locals I've asked haven't been 100% sure. The thunder fire cannon is a heavy 4 blast weapon. When firing this do you roll just the 2D6 and scatter die once for all 4 of its shots or treat each shot individually rolling the 2D6 and scatter die four times. The only thing I could find in the rule book that somewhat addressed this was the multiple blasts section (pg 30). Here they used the example of a four man devastator squad firing frag missiles, a heavy 1 blast. Is a heavy 4 blast treated the same or could I (if my template landed on four SM) roll 16 dice, assuming 4 shots on 4 marines? I'm assuming that each shot is resolved separately. Thanks

Devastator squad fires and resolves one at a time. (pg 30)
Same with the thunderfire cannon unless it says "Barrage"

I've had a look myself at the Section Blasts, page 30.

Multiple Blasts: If a unit is firing more than one blast weapon ... resolve each shot, one at a time, as described above.

I think that answers your question.

I seconded KS's answer.

For the purpose of the rules as generally played, one weapon that fires more than one blast shot (such as a dark reaper tempest launcher or missile launcher with fast shot) is treated as if each shot was from within the squad total.

Therefore, despite the fact that there is only one gun here, and the rule specifically says more than one weapon, I have to concur with Kakashi Sensei and Zenai.
