Default Efficiency of "Venerable" and "Death Company" for a drop Furioso drednought

how much more effective is a furioso dreadnought that is coming in via drop pod if it is equipped with "Venerable" and/or "Death Company"?

this is alot: 45 additional point for a model that has base value of 150 pts. (drop pod)

question is - has people found these points to be worthwhile?

I have played a space marine army that used 2 venerable dreads (was a trait chapter) and the reroll did help him out for the most part by making one "exploded" roll turn into a simple immobilized. I can see that if you are going to drop pod the dreadnought into combat that the venerable upgrade will be worth it's weight in gold because if you are able to position the dreadnought correctly when he gets out of the pod you would be able to prevent a majority of anti-tank fire from hitting him, making the rerolls that you have to do to a minimum and letting you wreck shop before you are taken down (if you are taken down)

But makes them potentially unpredictable. If they don't have direction (Chaplain) they go off at the first enemy they see (ignoring possibly more dire threats).
