Default Force Weapons

This may sound silly but does the Librarian take a psychic test for every attack he makes with his Force Weapon or will one test cover them all for the turn? Also, the Space Marines Codex mentions, of course, that the Librarian can only use one power per turn; does using the Force Weapon count as using this one power?
Now that I'm fielding a Librarian of my own, it has become kinda important...

Yes the Force Weapon counts as using a psychic power.

As for the attacks the Librarian does not test to make the attack. He only makes a psychic test when he successfully wounds a model with more than one wound, if successful he is able to rip the soul from his opponent and kill them instantly but first one wound must be made and of course he can only use one psychic power per turn.

If you couldn't what use would Might of Heroes or Veil of Time be?

Read the page pertaining to Librarian psychic powers as their usage is listed there. Might of heroes may be used in either player's assault phase, but veil of time can only be used at the start of your movement phase (lasts the whole turn though).

Not sure where this leaves us in terms of using veil of time inside a transport though. I'd quite like my Termie Librarian use it in the Land Raider, then move forward, debus and charge into close combat, but I don't know whether or not that is permitted. It's not treated as a shooting attack, and I can find no other rule that forbids it, so I guess it's alright.

Its not actually. They mention in the 40k general FAQ that if you're not on the table (or in a transport) you can't use psychic powers at the beginning of the turn. Its a real pain in the butt for Eldar players.

Ta very much. That is a pain in the butt! :-\

Guess I'll just have to make do with Might of Heroes for such moments then...but it's just not nearly as good!

That's why I prefere a Librarian with a Jump Pack and Familiar, when using Veil of Time it is just appauling how much damage he can do.
