He i was wondering if it would be a good idea to have 3 BT close combat squads mounted in rihnos and the other 3 as long range support with las cannons, i have a LOT of marines and i always have 4 squads of 10 and 2 squads of 5 and i have about 10+ marines left over, maybe they could be turned into a command squad, when everything is on the battle field i have 90+ models waiting to kick ass. Any one in the N.T wanna play this army (Its about 4000 points by the way)

Not bad, I was always one for the balanced assault unit/firepower unit combo. But as for 4,000 points... well I don't think I'd play a game that big as I rarely have enough time, might want to try to level out the point cost a bit, maybe reduce the size of your squads a bit, get some wargear stripped off and what not, or if worst comes to worst just take 2 squads in rhinos and have 2 10 man fire support squads.

also, what the heck is N.T. again?

Anyways...what does this have to do with the Topic Title 'Rhino Assault'?...anyways...4000pts...good luck finding others with the time and the points to play you...a 4000pts would take a long long time...and I hardly think there is anyone you know who also has close to 4000pts...

srry, the main q was is it kinda cheesy having nearly everythin in transports, and something about that rihno rush rule. Also their is a guy in the N.T that has a 4000 point Imp Guard army

nothing wrong whatsoever with having mostly rhino-mounted squads...i only have one troops choice in my army that is foot-mounted

if I could, I'd stack half my armies in Rhinos and half will sit back with long ranged weaponary and f them f up...

I used to have Ultras, then BT, then Ultras again then Dark Angels now...and I'll keep em Dark Angels 4 eva!
