Default A different Question about eye to eye

I think that this will probably be answered pretty quickly but with eye to eye it says 0-1 from the following list, does this mean that it is 0-1 Land Speeder squadron, 0-1 bike squadron and 0-1 attack bike squadron OR 0-1 Landspeeder squadron OR 0-1 Bike squadron OR 0-1 attack bike squadron.

In short does it mean eacxh item on the list is 0-1 or you may select 0-1 squadrons from the list?

"May only take 0-1 selection in total from the following list"
You can't choose which one is limited.

so what your saying is that oven cleaner can remove paint from plastic models? and after that, you take a toothbrush to your plastic model, and the paint just comes off?

so you can have one land speeder squadron OR one bike squadron OR one attack bike squadron not each one being 0-1.

That's correct; they're mutually exclusive.

Ok then do you think I should get some bikers or land speeders. For my chapter I've limited myself to 0 attack bike squadrons. I already have two bikers though so which should I choose or should I get both and have an army list with each. I lack anti tank power though.

A bike squadron is obviously the cheap answer, both in terms of points and sterling/dollars, but it will lack AT firepower.

I recommend a squadron of three Land Speeder Tornados with assault cannons; that'll give you some outstanding mobile AT firepower.

I can add an attack bike with a multi-melta, I only limited myself to 0 attack bike squadrons.

And wouldn't 3 land speeders with multi-meltas be better for tank killing than tornadoes, even with rending, it also seems a little foolish to put 80 points into something with AV 10, 65 is reasonable.

Multi-Meltas are indeed better for tank killing, especially when mounted on something so mobile (despite my horrifying record with them), but that's all they're good for. I had assumed you wanted something with a little flexibility, but if you want pure tank killers, Multi-Melta toting speeders are good for that. You could pay an extra ten points for each of them to take heavy flamers so they can whiz around burning up infantry should the need/desire arise, but then you're approaching that scary 80 point mark you mentioned, and they have to be really close to use them!

I'll leave them as normal and pure tank hunters, if I was to make them a special type it would be typhoon, longer range, blast and it can damage light tanks/APCs.

Thanks though

Able to damage light tanks and APCS, eh? It's a twin-linked strength 5 weapon with one shot. Should we compare that to such a weapon as even the humble heavy bolter? I can only surmise you either have very little gaming experience or you didn't actually read the weapon profile.

As for range...well if you want to stand back and shoot, why are you even considering Land Speeders? :

I'll just leave you to it.
