Default Boltgun assembly

When I bought a marine combat squad box, about 4 years ago when I started 40k before going Tau, I glued the whole marine together, but somthing stricked me as odd...

The boltguns still have the handles on them, so I had NO idea on how to attatch them to the models... Why are the marines assembled this way? It's confusing as hell.

Cut off the grip (handle) if you want the marine to hold the bolter properly. The reason they come with the grips is if you don't want the marine to be holding the bolter ready to fire. If you wanted to model him holding it in his off hand or on his side or back for example. Basically it's like that for modeling purposes, but it's really easy to remove.

If you answered yes to question 1, you are in fact a power gamer, and your list is probably either beardy or you can abuse the rules to make it such.

Tech-Commander Archive, thanks for the quick reply.

Luy22, next time something like this should go into the Hobby board.
