Might be me, but I don't really understand what you're getting at here... Do you mean - for example - being able to take to take Imperial Guard units in a space marine army? Or two chapters mixing? (Why 'mind chip'?)

Anyway, as long as your opponents agree you can do anything..

Well you can always take imperial allies in a Space Marine army...but I'm assuming you're talking about inducting an alien species of some kind via a form of mindless servitude, facilitated by this 'mind chip'? I would have to say no. I just don't know how you could go about it. Turning failed Space Marines into mindless automatons is one thing, but entire Ork warbands? And who can possibly control the malevolence of the Tyranid hive mind or the power of Eldar Farseers? Just think of the losses that would be incurred taking an entire alien army alive! It'd outweigh the number of 'troops' gained a hundred fold! It's just not viable...or fluffy. But hell, if your wargaming club can devise a situation in which Marines and Orks might find common ground and forge and alliance have at it. I just can't picture it.

Ork camp:
"Morg crush umies now?" Growled Morg, flexing his power claw.
"No! We needz 'em." Snapped Warlord Ghazakrull in reply.
"Gah! Later den..." Morg stomped off in what roughly passed for a sulk.

Space Marine camp:
Brother Sergeant Halar made his way into the command post and addressed his commander directly, "My lord, Orks have been spotted to the east. Shall we purge the aliens?"
"No, Brother. We have a common purpose here and they may prove useful. Permit them to pass unhindered." Captain McGanner replied.
"Yes my lord. Burn the Greenskins. I understand." Brother Halar turned to leave.
"Wait! You're not even listening to me!"

I think he means, basically the space marines have mind control powers over other armies that allow them obedience and you can there for include them in your army. *cough* vespids *cough*

In any case this is completely [glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left]wrong[/shadow][/glow]. There are ally charts for such events and unless there are two people playing the two allied armies, then I would not be playing against them.

You cannot make up some rule so you can include any race you want in your smurf army. This would be abused by a lot of people hence why it is not allowed.

Oh, now the idea's been worded letter, it sounds like what I hope will be in the Codex: Alien Hunters rules- Radical Inquisitors using allied/ mind controlled Xenos.

But currently you can't do it.
