Default Devastator Weapon Team Names/Classifications

First off, please forgive me if something like this is already posted but I searched and couldn't find anything so here goes. I was intrigued by thenames of XV88 crisis suits depending on their weapon combo's. I wanted to expand on that and do something like that for other armies. The space marines seemed like the obvious place to start and so here I am. I tried to think up some possible names for weapons and combo's and here's what I came up with, please forgive me as this was typed at 2:00 in the morning. Please feel free to add on and change these names completely, I really would like to know whether or not people think that this is a stupid idea or whether people will go with it. Please enjoy.

I hate this, it seems really against the idea of marines. There are some many different heavy weapon combinations possible in a devastator squad- 625, and that's not taking into account the fact that you don't need to take all 4 heavy weapons.

It works for crisis suits, but not for devastators.

If you realy want to do this... thats fine, however don't use terms associated with other armies, it will confuse people... Blacksun being a Tau term for example.

I'm not on board, but they're your marines. If you want to give them callsigns as such then that's your prerogative...it's just that marine squads tend to be named after their leader (normally the Sergeant), such as 'Squad Danna' for example. Space Marines are traditionally 'gothic English' and such callsigns as 'Eclipse' tend to be a bit American (no offense fellas). For our first fire mission in Iraq, we had two US sniper teams acting as observers. Their callsigns were Grimreaper one-zero and Grimreaper two-zero...see what I'm getting at?

But then again they are Marines...perhaps a little 'hooah' is just what they need?

Gothic English?

Latinised I'd go with...

But I see where you going with this one. If you want American call signs you should be playing Cadians!

And yes marine squads are named after their leader, usually a Sergeant or Vet. Sergeant.

Yes, of course, you're absolutely right. I couldn't put my finger on it but the Marines are largely representitive of Romans...who, as film makers would have us believe, are all stiff-upper-lip Brits...it must be a discipline thing, except of course the average Englishman these days is devoid of discipine.
