Default Pre-Heresy Death Guard

After a look at GW's pre-heresy page (Here) I saw my fave Chaos army, The Death Guard. With a little help from Traits i came up with Large List that i will hopefully reach sometime, but for now I will use a small starting list.

I used Trust Your Battle Brothers, See But Don't Be Seen as advantages, and picked Flesh over Steel as a fluff reason (Deathguard's Transports take up a Fast Attack)

In True Chaos form one Space Marine with a Bolter and CCW, costs 22 points (Only 12 to 16 will cost this much for now), lucky for me, they rule.

My Uber List:

HQ I: Terminator Captian (Thunder Hammer, Storm Bolter) with Termi Command Squad
HQ II: Librian w/ Command Squad

Elite I: Terminator Squad
Elite II: Dread w/ Missles and Lasscannon
Elite III: Dread w/ Missles And Lasscannon

Troop I: 6x SMs, 1x Sergeant w/ PowerFist, Bolter (7 Total Marines, Nurgle's number (little fun thing)), Infiltrate, 1x Melta Gun
Troop II: Ditto w/ 1x Melta Gun
Troop III: Ditto w/ 1x Plasma GUn

Fast Attack I: 5x Marines, 1 Serg. w/ Powerfist, Bolter; w/ Razorback w/ Extra Armour, Smokes
Fast Attack II: Ditto
Fast Attack III: Ditto

Heavy I: Vidicator
Heavy II: Pred. Defender
Heavy III: Land Raider (For Master)

Everything has True Grit that can have it. I'm going to make them out of Blood Claws and buy bolters to add to it. Seem's fun and easy.

My starting list is this:

Hq: Master w/ Power Weapon, Bolt Pistol
Troops: 6x SMs, 1x Sergeant w/ PowerFist and Bolter, One w/ Melta Gun, All Infiltrate.
Troops: 6x SMs, 1x Sergeant w/ PowerFist and Bolter, One w/ Melta Gun, All Infiltrate.

See But Don't Be Seen?
is there much fluff supporting pre-Heresy Death Guard infiltrating? I know everyone does it with DG Chaos armies, but is it accurate here?

Well, i based most everything off of the Chaos army. They had to start it sometime right?

The death guard were sent to the crappiest places imagionable where nobody else could go. Poisonous and inhospitable places that wouldnt support vehicles and heavy armor thus they would probably have ahd to relly on mostly infantry based stealth tactics as far as I gather from the fluff Ive read.

but infiltrate isn't specific to the Death Guard, it's available to them, and widely used because it gets around the reduced transports; plus, it's good.

I thought Mortarion just taught them to rely upon nothing but themselves and their bolters.

Ah, then please inlighten me. I can't find any good places for post heresy fluff.

Maybe i'll look in my rulebook? Seems like a logical place. =P

The Death guard where a counter attack force that would for the centre of a battle-line which the enemy would break against as they ran head first into massed bolter fire - they were not infiltration forces.

Thought for the day: There are few problems that the noble bolter cannot overcome
