Default 2 squads in a transport?

I was looking at the Landraider Crusader and saw that it could hold 15 space marines. My question is can you have 1 tact. spuad, 1 assault squad, and 1 scout squad each having five spave marines in a Landraider Crusader? I can't find anywhere that says you can't.

No, I'm fairly certain you can't. I'm pretty sure it's just one unit. I'll see if I can find it for you in the rulebook, but Wargamer will no doubt answer that one for you long before I find it.

I stand corrected; Wargamer didn't get in there first!* Wargamer, where are you, bud?* You let me down!* *

Yeah, one unit mate...make it a big unit.* Page 62 of the rulebook; "Who can use a transport vehicle?"

The 15 SM limit is for the chapters that allow squads larger than 10. I think the Black Templars have that.

Black Templars are one chapter that can have squads larger than 10. You can have squads with 20. 10 Tacs and 10 scouts (initiates and neophytes). But only one unit.

Only one unit and attached ICs.

BTs can have squads of up to 20, with 2 attached ICs.
Wolves can have squads of up to 15, with lots of attached ICs (depends on points limit).
Codex marines can have squads of up to 13, with 4 attached ICs.

Actually it might be possible to fit more squads.

I need a rule book to be sure but the 1 squad=one transport I believe only applies to dedicated transports. Since only termies take Raiders as dedicated transports it's quite possible you could fit more into a landraider taken as a heavy support choice.

As said, don' take my word on this just yet.

I have no idea.
But you can have 13 in a codex command squad- 10 marines, a captain, a chaplain, and a librarian. Then you could add another HQ IC and up to 3 Techmarines, for 17 men.
