Default How large around is a drop pod?

Are we supposed to make our own? Or is there some non-forgeworld model I am not aware of?

Hm......the only ones I heard are the ones at forgeworld. But , maybe you can built one out of cardboard or something.

Rumour (from GW employees) has it that plastic drop pods will come out in the summer.

But what to do in the meantime?

Anybody have a size?

Just larger than 60mm?

They are as big as a small water tumbler. I have seen them before.

You mean the enormous plastic cups? That's a good idea.

Yeah, the really big plastic or coated-card ones, depending which you can get.
Then you could put some card or plasticard fins on maybe?
and the storm bolters from rhinos.

Styrofoam Ostrich Egg... it's actually the perfect size volume wise. A full squad of troops take up just over a third of the space inside of it which leaves just enough room to accommodate armor, ammo, seating, fuel, etc etc.

I use several of them for my pod troopers sense they look a bit better than the "soda can" troopers others at my local GW use :P I'll post pics of them in the hobby section once I stop being lazy and clear the memory on my camera.

edit: Forgot to mention, they cost around 2-3 dolars at most craft stores, usually find them in the fake flower section of the store.

Well I guess they aren't good enough for permanent use like that, only as temporary proxies. They're not very durable, as far as I know.
