Valkys Gryphon: Marshal with the Crusading Kingsword (Pair of Lightning Claws), and Royal Crusade Armour (Adamantine Mantle, Combat Shield), Terminator Honours, Melta Bombs.
Veteran Sergeant: Bolt Pistol, Powerfist, Combat Shield, Terminator Honours.
Standard Bearer: Bolt Pistol, Power sword, Combat Shield, Terminator Honours, Fighting Company Standard.
Apothecary: Bolt Pistol, Power sword, Combat Shield, Terminator Honours.
Veteran: Bolt Pistol, Powerfist, Combat Shield, Terminator Honours.

Kakrian Gunners:
5x Initiate with Bolter.
Initiate with Lascannon.
Razorback with TL Lascannon, Extra Armour.
191pts.

Iron Golem:
Venerable Dreadnought with Assault Cannon and DCCW, Extra Armour.
130pts.

Land Speeder with Multi-Melta.
65pts.

Land Speeder with Heavy Bolter.
50pts.

1,496pts.

Powergamer Rating: 20 Cheater.

Tactics behind this list are simple: charge. The whole army is built around the idea of "looking cool", not being amazing on the battlefield. It is not exactly competitive, and so I'm readily admitting I won't be letting anything with Ordnance near this list. It is really meant to be used vs other Marine players, or any other army that seeks combat.

It is questionable whether this list is, in fact, legal. However, I've never let rules get between me and a good fight. Frankly, any opponent who doesn't try to fight this army in hand to hand has missed the point.

Its illegal man. Assault bikes have to go at minimum of two. Vets in the command squad dont get access to wargear. Your command squad is just way to expensive.

...you're right, I'll have to sort that. I've been using Ravenwing a lot lately, and they can take single bikes.

As for the command squad... this is pretty much a case of "rules to suit." I modelled the command squad before working out the cost.

1 question... Powergamer test rating is?

Nice list. The command squad may be pricey Amaliel but would you want to get in combat with it? I know I wouldn't. Factor in the fall forward rule and you could meanto charge them and end up getting charged by them. That is not nice at all.

He has enough anti-tank capability. The one thing is lack of numbers. if you come up against an IG player with a leman (or 2) and your attack bikes fail to stop it/them from firing then you have a very big problem on your hands. The Terminators and the command squad will do a lot of damage when they reach combat, only problem is, eventually they will need back up and you won't have any to offer.

Both armies scored very high... largely because the HQs are expensive in both, and my Troops choices are focussed into two units, not spread out like they are in most my armies.

That is true.

Also you seem to be relying on the command squad and the terminators to win all the combat for you. If somebody reaches your main lines with with a reasonably assaulty squad then you would have a problem on your hands and I doubt the bikes/land speeder are fast enough to react to save you in time. and the termies and command squad are definitely not fast enough.

but as it's a fluff list, you get let off, right?

I'm kinda disappointed that you wussed out and dropped the terminator honours off the command squad

you know, you could field a list where the whole command squad has a power weapon if you used Blood Angels. But then you'd have to field the Death Company, so you wouldn't get the army you want either.

I do like the list, I am building a Command Squad as write this and looking to compare it to my army list. So, Wargamer Let me Know how it works out. But now for my two cents. . .

Kakrian Gunners:
4x Initiate with Bolter.
Initiate with Lascannon.
Razorback with TL Lascannon, Extra Armour.
175pts.

This Razorback is going to attract a lot of attention and is going to get this tank popped and these guys entangled. If this happens too often, you can try a rhino and use the extra points for more troops, Initiates or Neos.

You can also fatten up this squad by moving some Neos from Unit Armsmen.

I imagine that the squad won't ride in the transport too often, they'll probably be static firepower while the Razorback acts as mobile support.
