Default 1500 BA Jump Assault

I tried to make a well rounded assault list. Let me know how I could improve it

HQ:
Librarian epistolary(190):
jump pack
unleash rage and sanguine sword

Elites:
2 Sanguinary priests: jump packs (150)
1 Furioso Dreadnought: Blood talons, Magna grapple, extra armor, drop pod (191)
Sanguinary guard 1 power fist, chapter banner (240)

Troops:
10 assault squad:flamer, meltagun and pf (230)
10 assault squad:flamer, meltagun and pf (230)
8 death company: bolters, 2 power weapons, 1 power fist, drop pod (195)

Can you please clean up your list? It looks really messy and hard to read and easy to think you are talking about something else. why are you getting 8 death company bolters, for the assault squads to use? You cannot have a drop pod with a power fist. etc, etc.

Points costs after each unit (eg librarian with x, y and z. total 180 points or whatever) really helps for people to see quickly what percentage you are using in what areas.

Personally in a drop pod list i assume you are deep striking your assault marines. Terrible idea. Have you ever deepstriked a 10 man marine squad within range of a plasma cannon? hitting 7 men with S7 AP2 blasts will knock them out extremely quickly. Either take a drop pod or perhaps start them on the field in cover? Dont deepstrike them

There I tried to clean it up as best I could. I was thinking maybe that the pods could cause disruption in the backfield, with things podding in amongst the enemy and the rest of my assault troops rushing from the front.

Much better format now

Those pods should do well. Make sure you engage what you need to engage. Drop in front of their plasma cannon troops with the dreadnought's pod so that they have no LOS to your assault marines - and plasma cannons arent that good against dreads

Little things like that are priceless and dont even cost any points :P

It should do pretty well against non-mech armies. Id hate to see what a speedy mech army would do though...(Dark eldar and eldar come to mind)
