Default Possible 1500 point answer to swarm Armies like Orcs and such

Here is an Idea I cooked up due to my Excess in Heavy Support.

HQ - 1 Master of the Forge with Servitors
Artificer Armor and Conversion Beamer

Elites - Ironclad Dreadnaught w Hurricane Bolter and Chain Fist
Ironclad Dreadnaught w CCW/Stormbolter and Hurricane Bolter
!0 Man Terminator Squad With Assault Cannon and Heavy Flamer

Heavy Support - Dreadnaught w CCW/Stormbolter and Multi-Melta
Dreadnaught w CCW/Stormbolter and Multi-Melta

Troops - 2 10 man Tactical Squads with Missile Launcher and Flamer

This is a rough draft and I would like some input as to any oversights or improvements I could make.

Thanks

I think it's risking being a little too specialised. I feel that taking another troops choice in place of a dread could be useful. The missile launcher's a versatile weapon, and can deal with hordes through blast and take out pesky tanks too: One more instead of a dread could help make your army a little more flexible IMO. Perhaps even a Scout sniper team with one: pin and slow down targets of opportunity and use a scout missile for a similar role to the Tac missiles, albeit a little less effectively.

Aren't dreads elites...

Also why multi-meltas, if this is for hoard armies then an assault cannon would be much better.

With the master of the forge you can take Dreadnoughts as Heavy Support choices. And I agree, the assault cannon will do way better.

Anyway, I don't think terminators are that useful against horde armies. If they cause enough wounds before you can swing, then the Termies will die, and most good horde players will assault the Terminators. If it were me, I would take a Thunderfire Cannon. Trust me. It's Less than half the points of the Terminators, and will do way more damage. Also, I think that the dreadnoughts are going to drown in bodies. 3 attacks a turn, for the ironclads, and if you roll poorly, you'll never leave combat. Maybe try As Sharpe said another Tactical Squad, maybe with a heavy bolter and a flamer.
