Default Space wolves 1500pts Newbie to SW

Hi
I dont own any models so onc again any changes and tactics are welcome as ATM this is just an idea.
So without further ado

HQ
Rune Priest
Master of Runes
Runic Armour
Chooser of the Slain

5 Wolf Scouts

Terminator armour

So, how are the Blood Claws and Grey Hunters gonna get to anywhere without any transports?

Grey Hunters stay still most of the time hold home obj etc.
Blood claws walk and another squad comes in in the Drop pod.
Is this a bad idea?

Foot-slogging Space Marines are usual a bad idea because people are quite used to dealing with MEQs; making them walk is a death sentence. So usually and in the case of Grey Hunters; they should be either in Rhinos or Drop Pods. Blood Claws; I don't know. Drop Pod negates their charging so maybe you can use them like Berzerkers in Rhinos.

Thanks for the help so far but:
Won't rhinos negate their charge as well as they can't assault out of it?
Oh and what Psychic powers would go well with this army?
I'm thinking living lightning and Storm caller would this work?

And how do you think people use Banshees or Berzerkers in transports? First you speed towards your intended target and when you're in charge range, pop smoke and wait for the next turn. Disembark from your Rhino (without moving the Rhino( then move and charge.

Doesn't loading up on plasma guns also seem bad for getting a charge off?

Depends; I wouldn't mind my Grey Hunters having them as they have a flexibility of Shooting and Close Combat. Blood Claws, however, are very CC-orientated so Plasma Gun is not an option for them UNLESS you want some way to stop them from charging.

Keep the plasma on the greyhunters if you want. I would just take out the plasma pistol and plasma gun on the blood claws. Add another scout and give the scouts a melta gun.
