You seem to have more strategic genius than I do, because this army list looks like something I would field, but at the same time, for a competitive list, its a bit... interesting.

1) You took both the Incinerator and the Psycannon. I'd be careful with bringing both to the board. They're nice weapons to have, even if the targets don't have an Invul save. But are you sure you want to sacrifice two Grey Knights with Storm Bolter+NFW?


2) You didn't note what's in the Land Raider, so I'm going to assume that its by itself. I'd suggest sticking the Inquisitor Lord in there. You have 2 Mystics, but the only weapons you have to shoot at targets coming in from Deep Strike are flamers and a Needle Pistol. I can see the use in nominating another model for a free shot; I'm going to assume Plasma Cannon or the Land Raider in most cases.

I'd be careful about that Inquisitor Lord and his Retinue. Extremely squishy, and if your opponent is relying on Deep Strikers, and if he's smart, he'll take 'em out first.



Everything else seems to look solid enough. I can foresee some issues with horde armies like Orks or Imperial Guard, but your close combat is good enough to take care of that once the game gets rough.

But a list is just a list of numbers and stats. What's your plan?

Dark Angels will angels struggle against Orks or Guard or anything really.

The Grey Knights and Azreal are in the Raider. 4+ Invul Grey knights are very nice.

I went with both weapon options simply because those are the models I have right now.

For the cost of the cannon and incierator I could by my Iquisitor a bunker or some sort. Finding points for a chimera would be the best option.

Now that you've said that, I think Azreal and the Grey Knights in the Land Raider is better than finding something else.

Looking at your army list more psychologically, I realize that the Inquisitor is lower on the threat scale, and as long as he and his unit find cover (probably with the 10 Tactical Marines), they can keep.

My biggest question really was what you planned on doing with the Eversor Assassin. The Callidus Assassin has an easy time finding her place among targets, and the Vindicare can sit back in cover and his stealth suit, but the Eversor, though cheap, would seemingly find it more difficult to see *useful* combat, unless you are keeping him as a counterattack force for your Tactical squad.
