So here is my finalized Dark Angels 3000 pt List.
I know, I know, why Ezekiel? Well I think he is one of GW's best models ever made & I actually customized him with a left Deathwing Shoulder Pad & the Ezekiel choke happens to be my favorite jujitsu move. Even though he's not the best Librarian out their I liked his special rules, so that is why Ezekiel. Also I always appealed to the DA's out of all of the Space Marines and my brother-in-law plays Space Wolves so it worked out great in the end.

Fluff wise it is not a whole DA army. I wanted to be a little different so I took Ezekiel & his command squad, The Forge World DA Venerable Dreadnought, & Forge World DA Landraider as the only pure DA models in the army. The rest are Disciples of Caliban. I really like the D of C paint scheme & it was a little easier for me to paint. The backstory is that Ezekiel is sent away from the 13 Black Crusade because the Disciples of Caliban have cornered the traitor Cypher on a planet across the galaxy. (note - I think Cypher is one of GW better models as well so I wanted to incorperate him some how as well). And this actually goes right with the D of C storyline cause they were created to find/hunter the traitor Cypher.

It plays fairly well too. I have gotten in some trouble with a Space Wolves army before & I got out CHOPPED when I played an Ork army once. But in all it is a very balanced list to deal with any race. I'd say my record with this army is 10W,2L,3Draws.

I have only played this 3000pt army once vs Chaos Marine Army and the dice gods were on my side & won pretty easy. Most of the time my 3000pt games are played with my Tau army. I have played alot of 2000 & under with my DA army. One day I'll get around to having my Tau faceoff vs my DA in a 3000pt game...that'll be a ton of work and I'll need a whole weekend to do it.
